The Mulberry reed diffuser is part of our Colony range of products.
For those of you who may not know what a mulberry smells like, I can only describe it as being part of the red berry family, similar to blackberries and raspberries. Although a very fruity fragrance, the overall fragrance is not overly sweet giving a clean fresh edge to it. MulberryReed Diffuser Oil is a rich red colour, due to this as the reeds draw up the liquid they can become tainted in colour.
With all of the colony range ofreed diffusers you will receive a glass bottle containing 120ml of fragrant reed diffuser oil, white reed support, 1 pack of reeds, 25cm in length, and 10 in number, and a refill funnel.
The bottle size is about 5.5cm in diameter, and when full contains 120ml of fragrance reed diffuser oil. Making it perfect for putting into small places to give long lasting and continuous fragrance. I like to think of this bottle as being a “nook and cranny” bottle, as it goes perfectly into little gaps.
On setting up your diffuser, firstly remove the white reed support top, and carefully unscrew the lid from the bottle. Replace the reed support to the top of the bottle, and the insert the reeds into the bottle making sure that they fan out, similar to the picture that is on the box. It can take up to 36 hours for the reeds to become completely soaked with the reed diffuser oil, and for the fragrance to properly start to diffuse.
The reeds diffuse the fragrance by gradually drawing up the liquid from the bottle below and as the liquid soaks through the reeds it is then diffused into the atmosphere giving you beautiful and continuous fragrance. Depending where the reed diffuser is placed at times the reeds on your diffuser may start to dry a little and you find you would like an extra burst of fragrance, this can easily be achieved by flipping the reeds over, giving you that extra burst.
